Founded in 1988 by Geoff Taylor, Corkwise has established itself as the UK's only independent specialist wine laboratory. In 2006, the company moved to Nutfield to join forces with BRI - the internationally recognised specialist brewing laboratory. At Nutfield, Corkwise has state-of-the-art laboratories and equipment, so that it can provide a broad range of analytical services to the wine industry

We believe that selected, targeted wine analysis is now an essential tool for those in the wine industry. Who are our customers?
We work with supermarkets, suppliers, wine importers and producers. We also provide the technical analysis and assessment for the International Wine and Spirits Competition. We are approved laboratories for The Wine Standards Board, The UK Quality Wine Scheme and for export certificates including Japan.
